Due to expansion of our programming, we are searching for a full time Intervention Specialist to join our growing team in the Autism Learning Center!
The Intervention Specialist will split the case load of Preschool through 2nd Grade students utilizing the Ohio Autism Scholarship.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Must have a Bachelor’s Degree and a valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license.
– Some DIR and ABA experienced preferred.
-Experience working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum preferred.
POSITION SUMMARY:
- Meets and ensures Intervention IEP minutes are met with students in a classroom or 1:1 setting.
- Writes IEP goals in coordination with each student’s local school district and with input from parents, teachers, therapists and other related service providers.
- Completes ETR assessments and reports as needed, coordinating with the student’s home district.
- Completes quarterly progress reports.
- Participates in IEP and ETR meetings with local school districts.
- Supervises Teachers and Instructional Assistants/Aides in the classroom, per required IEP minutes and in line with the Ohio Autism Scholarship Program requirements.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17 – $19.55/Hour
