What's the importance of tummy time for a baby? According to Jay L. Hoecker, M.D., of the Mayo Clinic, Tummy time — placing a baby on his or her stomach while awake and supervised — can help your baby develop strong head, neck and shoulder muscles and promote certain motor skills. Tummy time can also prevent the back of your baby's head from becoming flat. Contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for more information. Friends in STEP

IMG 1968The Friends in STEP (Social Thinking, Executive function, Physical fitness) group collaborated to earn money for a visit to Kings Island. Michael delivered ice cream to customers who pre-ordered sundaes. Participating in a fund raiser is just one way for Friends in STEP participants to practice team work, social skills, counting money, and much more. Thanks to our therapists for facilitating the groups.  Contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for more info.
