Inclusive Summer Camp for Kids
Support our Campers!
This Summer, Abilities First is going bigger and better than ever to provide the most amazing camp experience in our organization history! We are hosting daily special activities for campers throughout this summer! Funds are still needed for scholarships, art supplies, equipment rental, snacks, and more!
Construction of two New Classrooms
This Summer we are building two new classrooms in our Autism Learning Center! Help us make this dream a reality, allowing Abilities First to serve an additional 12-16 children this fall!
Why give?
Abilities First has been providing services to children and families living with disabilities since 1958. In that time, thousands of lives have been affected by our programs.
John's* Story:
John came to Abilities First in the early 1990s for pediatric therapy services. Diagnosed with Autism and unable to speak, John's mother thought he would never learn to talk. His therapists worked with him on his needs and interventions until, one day, John was heard singing from the corner of the room. Thus began his speaking journey! John, now in his 30s, shares his gift of speech with the world through his love of puppetry, and has even started his own entertainment business!
